RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC The American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists (AATCC), the international association for the textile design, processing, and testing industry, announced an addition to its test method training offering: a Colorfastness to Crocking program on CD.
AATCC has conducted test method training programs at its headquarters for many years. In response to the textile industrys requests for other forms of training, AATCC launched the Testing & Evaluation Series of training programs on CD.
The intent is to provide training programs about AATCC test methods that will include a demonstration of correct techniques in performing the methods.
The portability of the program allows laboratories to train new technicians on-site.
Now, a program on Colorfastness to Crocking has been added to the series. The program demonstrates the correct technique for establishing wet pickup, and it discusses and demonstrates the three Colorfastness to Crocking methods.
